Dura Lex, Sed Lex

Our Social Dilemma - Meta Skills in the Age of the Metaverse

Dura Lex, Sed Lex Season 1 Episode 9

This weeks episode features a special guest - Tekla Emborg, a Tech Track LLB student at the University of Groningen. You heard that right, she is second year student, and the first time a student in general is coming up in a separate episode! Tekla made a draft for a potential honours course here at the University of Groningen, which discusses  why students are so distracted nowadays how professors and others can use/bypass this to educate students more accurately. While the honours programme has not yet been approved, Alissa and Anna, who met Tekla through Dr. Mando Rachovitsa, found it very interesting as to how Tekla came up with this project and where her drive comes from. Together they also talk about how dangerous social media actually is and what students can do to be more present in their lives - be it socially, in a university setting or just on their day-to-day.

Please let us know how you find this episode, and if you would be interested in seeing more students coming on the Podcast! If you are interested in participating in the Programme or just chat with Tekla about the episode, make sure to email her t.m.emborg@student.rug.nl (as she does not have social media)
